CD Rom, Inc. is a privately-held C Corporation registered in the State of Colorado since 1988. The Company is a leader in the development of Creation and Destruction eMedia tools and has developed some of the fundamental core technologies used in the CD-ROM and DVD industry. Patents have been awarded to the company in 3 fields of science to include audio processing, data compression and encryption, and digital data destruction for classified data on CD-ROM and DVD media. Pending patents are on file in other scientific niches to include color sensing and non-invasive remote medical diagnostic devices. The Company is quietly working in what they believe will be a major future marketplace for optical storage systems, holographic memory and projection of multimedia content.
Since its early inception as a formal commercial enterprise, CD Rom, Inc. has steadily grown from its first few weeks in an unheated garage in Golden, Colorado to being a highly successful and international company conducting business in virtually all 50 States, and in 5 of six continents. In addition to establishing early offices in England, Mexico and other countries, the Company has branched into several fields of technology since the early days of CD-ROM technology. Our main corporate office is in Fort Myers, Florida with with branch offices in Inon River, Wisconsin, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Guangzhou, China.
The company is managed by Roger Hutchison, an industry pioneer who holds a doctorate in economics from the College of Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines. His academic study was centered on the use of advanced materials (optical systems) as replacement technology for traditional materials in the telecommunication industry.
The Company has several awards including the prestigious INC 500 Award.
